WHO IS TAR?

We are a team composed of about 40 members spread out through five sub-teams: Hardware, Computer Vision, Controls, Simulations, and Business. Currently, all sub-teams are working towards making Mission 9 a success!

The hardware team is responsible for designing and manufacturing the drone, including any mission-specific add-ons,  and any props needed for physical testing

COMPUTER VISION

Everything to do with how the drone visualizes it's surrounding. The computer vision team is constantly researching new AI methods for optimizing drone visuals

CONTROLS

The controls team writes all of the code involved in flight path management using ROS. Controls "controls" how the drone maneuvers to reach different locations

SIMULATIONS

The simulations subteam runs all of the simulations used for testing the computer vision and flight planning code - a pivotal part of diagnosing bugs before physical testing
